November 1, 2007 Town Board Meeting
NOVEMBER BOARD MINUTES
1.Lebanon Town Board met on Thursday, November 1, 2007, for the
Monthly Board Meeting, at 7:30 o’clock P.M. at the Town Offices,
Lebanon. Present were the Chairman, Lohny Fredrick, who called the
meeting to order, the Supervisors, Todd Wilson and LeRoy Tietz, Clerk
Dorothy Kuehl and Treasurer Jon Schoenike.
2.The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Chairman.
3.The Clerk verified the posting of the agenda on Monday October 29,
2007 and Tuesday, October 30, 2007 by the Deputy Clerk Behl at the
Lebanon Town Offices, Town and Country Bank, R-Station, Lebanon Post
Office, Universal Co-op and the Recycling Center, also faxed to the
Times. Letter received from Grota, will not order.
4.The Chairman previewed the agenda and Wilson will report on the web
site up date. Robert Spoerl was present and complained about the cost
of his building permit. The Board reviewed his permit fees and agreed
that it should be corrected and a refund will be paid next month.
5. MOTION WAS MADE BY WILSON AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE THE
MINUTES FOR FIRST MEETING IN OCTOBER AS MAILED. M. C.
6.The Treasurer read the Treasurer’s report. MOTION WAS MADE BY
WILSON AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO ACCEPT THE TREASURER’S REPORT AS
PRESENTED. M. C. MOTION WAS MADE BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO
PUT THE UNPAID INVOICES ON THE TAX ROLL. M. C.
11.Pat Ireland from the Lebanon Sanitary District # 1 was present and
reported their project was all completed. The account will be closed
as soon as they are given the ok.
7. Police Report was not received this month.
8. No Land Division Officer report nor any other planning issues.
9.Highway Superintendent Brent Boyd reported on the status of Hoard
Road RR bridge. Brent has completed the application for a Trip D
Grant for the road into Harnishfeger Park. The road rating report is
due and we should check with Debbie Behl. Brent reported that the
siren control for the station needs to be fixed and estimates are
being obtained. A billing for work on Wren Road was worked on. The
sidewalk ordinance was talked about as was the bond issue for Guardian
Pipeline.
13. Tietz reported on the Park committee. They will be doing some
painting and are working on the budget.
14. Wilson discussed a new web site to be started the 1st of the new
year. A MOTION WAS MADE BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO APPROVE A
$39.00 PER DIEM FOR WORK THAT THE DEPUTY TREASURER WOULD DO. M. C.
12.The Board reviewed the bills for November. MOTION WAS MADE BY
FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO PAY THE BILLS AS PRESENTED. M. C.
15.MOTION WAS MADE BY TIETZ AND SECOND BY WILSON TO ADJOURN AT 8:54
P. M. M. C.
1. Lebanon Town Board also met after the Budget Hearing and the
Special Meeting.
2. All elected officials were present. Chairman Lohny Fredrick
called the meeting to order.
3.Notice was given on the Budget Hearing notice to adopt the 2008
Budget.
4. MOTION WAS MADE BY TIETZ AND SECOND BY WILSON TO APPROVE THE 2008
BUDGET AS PRESENTED AT THE BUDGET HEARING. M. C.
5.MOTION BY WILSON AND FSECOND BY TIETZ TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT
8:36 P. M. M. C.
