JANUARY BOARD
MINUTES
1. Lebanon Town Board met on Thursday, January 7, 2010, for the
Monthly Board Meeting, at 7:30 o’clock P.M. at the Town Offices,
Lebanon. Present were the Chairman, Lohny Fredrick, who called the
meeting to order, the Supervisors, Todd Wilson and LeRoy Tietz, Clerk
Deborah Behl and Treasurer Jon Schoenike.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Chairman.
3. The Deputy Clerk verified the posting of the agenda on Monday
January 4, 2010 at the Lebanon Town Offices, Lebanon Post Office,
Universal Co-op, R-Station and the Lebanon Town Shed/Recycling Center
and the agenda was faxed to the Daily Times.
4. The Chairman previewed the agenda. No public input. Supervisor
Wilson read a letter from the Lebanon Sanitary District #1 to district
residences regarding reducing chloride levels. Board will take this
matter up at a later date with the Sanitary Board.
5. MOTION MADE BY WILSON AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE THE MINUTES
FOR DECEMBER AS DISTRIBUTED. M. C.
6. The Treasurer’s report was read by the Treasurer. MOTION MADE BY
FREDRICK AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO ACCEPT THE TREASURERS REPORT AS READ.

9. Highway Superintendent’s Report.
The application has been completed and submitted for the Monroe Road
project under the Community Development Block Grant.
FEMA disaster money may be available for the snowstorm in early Dec.
2009.
The new truck is in and we need to make payment for the chassis.
7. The Police Report was received at this time from Officer Beal.
Ed Oestreich was hired as an officer.
A mutual aid agreement was signed with Neosho-Rubicon-Ashippun Dept.
The new squad car will be delivered sometime in January.
8. The Land Division Officer had nothing to report.
’10. Hudson Tower Co. submitted a proposal to construct a cell phone
tower at
Lebanon Firemen’s Park.
12. Appointed election officials were sworn in.
13. Park Committee had no report.
’15. Board Member Reports. Unit meeting will be on Jan. 20.
Discussion on extra-
territorial zoning. Discussion on the upcoming census. Put
resolution opposing
the DOR assessment proposal on the next agenda.
’11. MOTION BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE
RESOLUTION L-10-A HOARD ROAD RAILROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT. MOTION
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY ON ROLL CALL VOTE.
Fredrick – aye, Wilson – aye, Tietz – aye.
MOTION BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO APPROVE THE
PETITION FOR COUNTY AID IN THE REPLACEMENT OF THE HOARD
ROAD RAILROAD BRIDGE. Motion carried unanimously.
’14 MOTION BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO APPROVE
PAYMENT OF BILLS AND TAX SETTLEMENTS TOTALING $901,214.20.
