FEBRUARY BOARD
MINUTES
1. Lebanon Town Board met on Thursday, February 7, 2008, for the
Monthly Board Meeting, at 7:30 o’clock P.M. at the Town Offices,
Lebanon. Present were the Chairman, Lohny Fredrick, who called the
meeting to order, the Supervisors, Todd Wilson and LeRoy Tietz, Clerk
Dorothy Kuehl and Treasurer Jon Schoenike.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Chairman.
3. The Clerk verified the posting of the agenda on Monday February 4,
2008 at the Lebanon Town Offices, Town and Country Bank, R-Station,
Lebanon Post Office, Universal Co-op and the Recycling Center, and
forgot to fax to the Times.
4. The Chairman previewed the agenda and had nothing to add.
Correspondence received to be taken up under Board member reports.
Wilson reported a dog running loose reported on CTH O. No pubic
input.
5. MOTION WAS MADE BY WILSON AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE THE
MINUTES FOR JANUARY AS MAILED. M. C.
6. The Treasurer’s report was read by the Treasurer. MOTION WAS MADE
BY TIETZ AND SECOND BY FREDRICK TO ACCEPT THE TREASURERS REPORT AS
READ. M. C.
7. The Police Report was not received at this time.
8. No Planning issues or reports. Wilson reported on the changes the
County has made to the Land use codes. Wilson also explained Act 44
that passed in January.
7. The Police Report was now received from Officer Beal and he
reported that they have not found the people who dumped tires on the
road right of way in several places.
9. The Highway Superintendent Brent Boyd’s reported next. Brent
reported a driveway permit, pending for Wes Braunschweig. MOTION WAS
MADE BY WILSON AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO GIVE THE CHAIRMAN THE AUTHORITY
TO GIVE WES BRAUNSCHWEIG A DRIVEWAY PERMIT THAT HAS A DRAWING SHOWING
IT WITHIN THE LOT LINES AS DRVIEWAY #2. M. C. Brent reported he had
not heard from Guardian Pipeline about the Bond issue. He also
reported that he is conserving salt use with sand. Wilson reported
that he is trying to get the wetland more defined so it is clearer for
present properties on the wetland. Brent also reported the repairs
done, and on the park shelter project.
10. Board is still working on the Pipeline Bond issue.
11. Board discussed the Sidewalk Resolution L-07-M and may have it
ready for March.
12. Board reviewed the proposal for ditching for Le Roy Tietz. Tietz
abstained and Randy Tietz was present and explained the proposal. The
other Board members approved the ditching and culverts for the Tietz
property.
13. MOTION WAS MADE BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE THE
CLASS B LICENSE FOR RADOMER BUZDOM FOR N866 CTH R, WATERTOWN. M. C.
14. Board reviewed the Waste Management contract. MOTION WAS MADE BY
FREDRICK AND SECOND BY TIETZ TO APPROVE THE CONTRACT WITH WASTE
MANAGEMENT WITH THE PRICES LISTED IN THE CONTRACT. M.C.

15. MOTION WAS MADE BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO CONVENE INTO
CLOSED SESSION PURUANT TO WI STATUTES 19.85(1)(F) “CONSIDERING
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION, COMPENSATION, ET AL.” M. C.
16. MOTION WAS MADE BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO RECONVENE
INTO OPEN SESSION. M. C. MOTION BY FREDRICK AND SECOND BY WILSON TO
APPROVE RESOLUTION L-08-A COMPENSATION FOR INCLUSION UNDER THE WI
PUBLIC EMPLOYEE GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE TOWN OF
LEBANON. M. C.
18. No Park Committee report.
19. Board talked about the correspondence, the Annual Meeting on
April 8th and cleanup days for May 3rd and 10th.
17. Board reviewed the bills for February. MOTION WAS MADE BY TIETZ
AND SECOND BY WILSON TO APPROVE THE PAYMENT OF THE BILLS FOR FEBRUARY
AS PRESENTED. M. C.
20. MOTION BY TIETZ AND SECOND BY FREDRICK TO ADJOURN AT 11:24 P. M.
