Polling Place

The only polling place in the Town of Lebanon is at the Town Offices, N1738 Main Street in Lebanon.  All wards in the Town of Lebanon and one ward in the Town of Emmett vote at the Lebanon Town Hall.  Town of Emmett residents call the town’s clerk to determine your voting place.

Solid Waste Disposal

Residential solid waste is collected every Saturday between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon at the town garage located at the intersection of County Highways R & O.  Waste collection is limited to Town of Lebanon residents only and during the hours listed above. Fees are charged according the size and quantity of items being disposed.  (Refer to the enclosed fee schedule and restrictions).   There is no fee for the disposal of recyclable wastes.

Dumpsters are provided for each of the various types of household waste.  Several dumpsters are designated for normal household garbage, one container is for the disposal of recyclable paper products (boxes should be broken down flat), and two containers are for steel cans, glass, & Nos 1 & 2 plastic.  Cans, glass, and plastic can be mixed together in the same container.  In the garage to west of the dumpsters are barrels for the recycling of aluminum cans.

During 2 Saturdays in May and October of each year Town of Lebanon conducts a semi-annual clean up held at the town’s collection site.  During the clean up residents can drop off items which would not normally be accepted during regular operating times.  Refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers and appliances containing refrigerants will be accepted with a fee for the removal of the refrigerant.  Appliances, such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc., will also be accepted.  Metallic items should be separated as these will picked up by recyclers.
